CropLife Philippines joins the 21st National Biotechnology Week Celebration

On October 28–30, the Philippines marked the 21st National Biotechnology Week, with the Department of Education serving as this year’s lead host. Mr. Ramon Abadilla, Executive Director of CropLife Philippines (CLP), joined key government officials in the opening ceremonies to celebrate the country’s continued commitment to biotechnology advancement.

CLP, in partnership with CropLife Asia, took part in the exhibit to highlight the vital role of biotechnology—particularly genetically modified (GM) crops—in modern agriculture. Students and teachers from 14 regions across the Philippines visited the booth, where they engaged in interactive games and learned more about the science and benefits of agricultural biotechnology.
